My PUBG Store Flashback: Black Market 2025, Double G-Coin and More
PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS sixth Store update 2025 brings Currency Selection, Black Market, Double G-Coin, and Castello Autohaus collection.
As a PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS player in 2026, I still smile when I think about the sixth Store update of 2025. It was one of those patches that felt like a festival for survivors like me. From the early arrival of the Black Market to the Double G-Coin promotion, the Castello Autohaus collection, and the new Currency Selection feature, June 2025 had my squad and me counting our BP and G-Coin before every drop.
Currency Selection: A New Way to Spend
The biggest quality-of-life change for me was the Currency Selection feature. Suddenly, I could pick between G-Coin and BP for select items in the Store. It meant my pile of hard-earned BP finally had a new purpose beyond contraband crates. I remember reading the warning that purchases made with BP through Currency Selection were not eligible for refund, so I double-checked every click before confirming.

Black Market 2025 Arrived Early
Then came the big one: Black Market 2025. The event opened earlier than usual, and I was hyped. Returning Progressive weapon skins and popular costumes were on my wishlist for months. I told my duo partner that if I got a progressive skin, I would never let it go. The market ran from June 11 after live server maintenance to July 9 on PC, while console players got it from June 19 to July 17.

I also learned the hard way to watch the Special Crafting tab. The Black Market 2025 crafting window stayed open only until July 14 on PC and July 22 on console. I made sure to spend every Token before the closing date, because unspent tokens would have haunted me.
Double G-Coin: Double the Loot Chances
While the Black Market was live, the Double G-Coin promotion made everything more tempting. Buying a bundle gave me extra G-Coin, which I used to chase a few more market items. Each bundle could be purchased only once per account during the sales period, so I timed my purchase carefully. PC players had June 11 to June 18, and console players had June 19 to June 26.

| Event | PC | Console |
|---|---|---|
| Black Market | June 11 - July 9 | June 19 - July 17 |
| Special Crafting close | July 14 | July 22 |
| Double G-Coin | June 11 - June 18 | June 19 - June 26 |
| Pro Mechanics | June 11 - Feb 4, 2026 | June 19 - Feb 12, 2026 |
| Dance emote | June 11 - July 11 | June 19 - July 19 |
Castello Autohaus Collection and Good Ol' Days Sedans
The Castello Autohaus collection also rolled into the Store. It gave the whole update a fancy garage vibe, and it paired perfectly with the new Special Vehicle skins. The Good Ol' Days sedan skins came in Black and White, and they could be applied to Dacia and Mirado. I equipped the white one on a Mirado and instantly felt like I was driving an old-school classic.

These Special Vehicle skins changed the vehicle's appearance and even its driving and honking sounds. I loved hearing the unique horn while rotating with my squad. The important part was that HP, performance, weight, fuel amount, and driving method were maintained based on the vehicle's condition before equipping the skin. The soft cover at the rear did not provide bulletproof protection, which I remembered whenever an enemy tried to shoot through it. These vehicle skins became available permanently starting with the June update, so they were a solid long-term addition.
Pro Mechanics and the Viral Dance Emote
On the cosmetic side, the Pro Mechanics set made me feel like a master mechanic on the Battlegrounds. I paired it with the new viral dance emote, and my squad spent more time dancing in the lobby than looting. The Pro Mechanics set was available for a long window: PC until February 4, 2026, and console until February 12, 2026. The dance emote stayed shorter, ending July 11 on PC and July 19 on console.

Console Perks and Personalized Shop
Console players got extra love with the second PlayStation Plus bundle of 2025. I claimed mine and received Hunter's Chests, Keys, and Contraband Coupons. Xbox Game Pass players had the second Survivor Pack of 2025 waiting for them from June 26 to August 14. My friend on Xbox grabbed Hunter's Chests, Keys, and Contraband Coupons too, and we both felt like the update rewarded us for just showing up.

Finally, my personalized shop reopened in June. Discounted goods tailored to my playstyle appeared, and I grabbed a few items I had been eyeing for weeks. I also kept in mind that featured items could return later via the Workshop, Your Shop, or other events. Looking back in 2026, that June update still feels like one of the best store drops I have experienced. It gave me value, style, and a reason to keep riding through the Battlegrounds.

Happy shopping, survivors!
