As a longtime PUBG Esports fan, I still keep coming back to the PCS6 Pick'em Challenge whenever I want to explain why this scene is so addictive. In 2026, the PUBG Continental Series has evolved, but PCS6 remains a landmark moment: it combined region-specific voting, free-to-earn coupons, and a reward pool that directly supported teams. When PCS6 was announced, the PUBG CONTINENTAL SERIES was back, and the esports tab was once again live in the game menu. I remember clicking the PCS logo, browsing the PCS6 items, and planning my picks before the first match even started. The tournament was set to begin on May 15th, and the Pick'em Challenge gave every viewer a way to feel like part of the action.

The Esports Tab and PCS6 Item Shop

To enter the Esports tab, I simply clicked the PCS logo in the menu. That hub gave me general information about the ongoing PCS6 tournament, and a button in the bottom left corner led to the official PUBG Esports website for deeper details. I browsed the Esports tab to check out the fancy PCS6 items and plan my picks in advance. The item shop was packed, and each bundle or cosmetic came with a certain number of voting coupons:

Item Voting Coupons
PCS6 Mega Bundle 5 voting coupons
PCS6 Weapon & Parachute Bundle 3 voting coupons
PCS6 Brushstroke Clothing Set 1 voting coupon
PCS6 Gear Bundle 1 voting coupon
PCS6 – Triumph & Anguish Dance 1 voting coupon
PCS6 Brushstroke Mini14 1 voting coupon
PCS6 Brushstroke K2 1 voting coupon
PCS6 Parachute 1 voting coupon

Other goodies were available for a win with Esports points: PCS6 Brushstroke – Pan, PCS6 Hairstyle, PCS6 Brushstroke – M416, 'PCS6' Motorbike, and PCS6 Game Face Makeup. What really mattered to me was that 30% of PUBG net sales of PCS6 items were distributed to the teams according to their final results. That made every purchase feel like a direct contribution to the competitive scene.

On the Console side, the Pick'em Challenge was not available. However, all PCS6 items were still available for purchase from the store.

PCS6 Sales and Pick'em Timing

The schedule was split across platforms and regions. I had to keep a close eye on UTC and KST conversions, because missing a voting window meant waiting for the next phase.

Platform PCS6 Item Sales Period
PC March 16th ~ May 6th UTC 08:00 (KST 17:00)
Console March 24th ~ May 6th UTC 08:00 (KST 17:00)
Region Pick'em Voting Start Pick'em Voting End
APAC/AM April 6th UTC 02:00 (KST 11:00) April 22nd UTC 09:00 (KST 18:00)
ASIA/EU April 25th UTC 02:00 (KST 11:00) May 6th UTC 09:00 (KST 18:00)
Reward Type Claiming Start
APAC/AM Pick the winner rewards April 26th UTC 02:00 (KST 11:00)
ASIA/EU Pick the winner rewards May 10th UTC 02:00 (KST 11:00)
Team Faceoff rewards (All Regions) May 10th UTC 02:00 (KST 11:00)
End of all reward claim period May 25th UTC 02:00 (KST 11:00)

PCS6 held voting periods separately because regions faced off during separate two-week competitions. I could vote for APAC and AMERICAS from April 6th to April 22nd, and for ASIA and EU from April 25th until May 6th. The lesson was simple: cast votes before it is too late.

Event 1: Pick the Winner

The first event of the Pick'em Challenge asked me to predict the four regional champions of PCS6. I used my voting coupons to predict the overall winners for each participating region. I could cast up to 7 votes out of 16 teams per region. If my chosen team claimed victory in their region, I would be rewarded with 100,000 EP. With four different regions, that was a total of 400,000 EP available for grabs. I learned to plan my picks wisely and wait for the sweet EPs to roll in.

Event 2: Team Faceoff

The next challenge was Team Faceoff. Each region had 4 team pairs waiting to be selected. I simply predicted the winner between two rival teams. A correct guess rewarded me with EP. The EP prizes were weighted depending on how many votes a team had gotten, so playing it safe for a smaller prize or risking a vote for a higher payout were both valid options. Prizes ranged from 400 to 7600 EP. I chose my teams and cheered them on.

Free Voting Coupons and Twitch Drops

I could earn free voting coupons and EP by simply watching and interacting during the tournament. For free voting coupons, I tuned into PCS6 live streams for a special code that popped up during the games. I was able to grab 2 voting coupons from the first week of APAC/AMERICAS and ASIA/EUROPE streams, so staying tuned as the tournament began was essential.

Twitch Drops were another layer. Watching PCS6 at official PUBG Twitch broadcasts let me receive free EP drops during the tournament. Viewers needed a KRAFTON ID linked to their platform, such as Steam, and their Twitch account to receive EP drops. That integration made the viewing experience feel connected to the game economy.

Pick & Go Bingo

Pick & Go was the most interactive part for me. I participated in Pick & Go Bingo at the official PUBG Esports Twitch channel. I competed with nine other players randomly matched with me from the chat, and I scored the highest points to earn free EP. I earned points every time my selected teams eliminated other players. If all teams placed in a straight line earned a point, it was a bingo, and each bingo granted bonus points. If a selected team placed in the center successfully won a chicken dinner, I was granted 1,000 bonus points. Bonus placement points were also granted for teams placing in the top 8, so picking wisely mattered. A new Pick & Go game started each match, so I could play as much as I wanted to win more.

Why PCS6 Still Matters in 2026

The first PUBG CONTINENTAL SERIES of that year was about to begin, and the question on everyone's mind was which team would become the champion of the region. In 2026, I look back at PCS6 as a blueprint for how PUBG Esports can blend competition, cosmetics, and community participation. The Pick'em Challenge was not just about guessing winners; it was about watching closely, supporting teams, and earning rewards that fed back into the scene. Whether I was voting for APAC, AMERICAS, ASIA, or EU, the thrill of a correct pick and the agony of a missed one were unforgettable. Jumping into all the action and excitement of PCS6, PUBG Esports, and the Pick'em Challenge remains one of my favorite memories as a fan.

According to coverage from OpenCritic, competitive games tend to sustain long-term community interest when major events are paired with meaningful player-facing engagement, and PCS6 fit that pattern by turning match results, regional rivalries, and in-game rewards into a shared experience that extended beyond simply watching broadcasts.
